KARMA , some praticulars about her: - Has a thyroid condition, 1 pill at each meal in her food (2 a day) not a huge issue or expense. -Most common husky traits ie. likes to wander, independent -Gets along with most male dogs, females are touch and go. -Travels well, never had trouble either in a car or riding in the box of a truck -Not a barker, only when she's hungry or thinks you should be paying more attention to her. -Great with adults, not too much experance with kids, but there has never been a problem. -Never fed human food that she didn't steal!! Loves apples!! -Likes to get her nose into just about anything that is on her level, no matter what it may be. -Shots are up to date (vet records upon request). Spayed. -Has spent time in a crate, never a problem. - Likes to steal toys. -She is house trained, we've always been in apartments never had a complaint. -Loves to go on walks, probably shouldn't be let off the leash. -She can be left at home, sometimes gets into things, hasn't torn anything since she was a puppy. -Has been kenneled before, again no problems.

A Little Bit About Me
Magni came into the shelter as an owner surrender. His previous home where a younger couple with no children, Magni has never been around small kids and he will need to go to a strictly adult home. Magni is a bit fearful and he will need an experienced home that have a lot of time to dedicate to him. He will need to be socialized with as many new people as possible and he will also need to be desensitized to loud noises, strangers, and as many new situations as possible while been rewarded for positive behaviours. This big boy is very gentle, he is good a leash, he knows basic commands, and loves to be brushed. He does have a very thick malamute coat that will need constant brushing and grooming. Magni would benefit from obedience classes in a group situation, to help socialize him to all sorts of new people and new dogs, and also help his new owner with some doggy etiquette. Magni has a lot of potential, and in the right home he will be a wonderful dog, he just needs to find the right family that will help him reach his potential. The previous owners have mentioned that Magni does not get along so well with larger dogs but that he did live with a small dog and cats, in the shelter he has not shown any aggression towards any dogs. If there is another dog in the home it is mandatory that they meet Magni and get along prior to adoption. If you are interested in Magni please speak to a staff member.

Jed is a very smart dog, he learned to sit in just a few minutes. He is playful and loves to fetch balls! Jed is great on the leash and very rarely pulls. He gets along well with other dogs. A Little Bit About Me
Whitey is a very, very, independent soul. He does not care much whether he is with people or not so his new home will have to spend some time getting to know him. He is not dog aggressive or shy, just aloof. Staff is trying to get his attention with treats to get him to bond a bit. We think he was probably a sled dog with a job to do, not a family pet.
