THIS WEBSITE WILL BE SHUT DOWN IN FEBRUARY
We take no responsibility for the dogs listed here and have not screened all the animals listed on the site. It is the adopter's responsibility to fully investigate the dog in question. Please note we will list an owner surrender that is not being taken in to foster care by us, we ask for a small donation to help offset our costs and time.

Marlow
Husky Mix: An adoptable dog in Prince Albert, SK
Medium • Young • Female
'It's so cold outside as I try to huddle under the stairs for warmth but my rope
is so short I can't really reach the little bit of shelter available to me. My
neck really hurts and my stomach won't stop rumbling. I cry and cry and finally
someone hears me. Next thing I know there are two men, I call them my angels,
who come and pick me up. I am taken to the vets where they weigh me, I am 25
pounds, and then they clip my neck where my collar had grown into it and put me
on some anitbiotics. Soon I am in a warm building with a big, fluffy bed (and
does it ever feel good) toys (not quite sure what those are yet) and a bit of
food which I gobble down. The staff here say I can only have lots of small meals
until I gain some weight. I like to talk alot and am really enjoying all the
attention. Everyone tells me they are going to find me a wonderful home where
I'll never want for anything again - I can't wait for ...

about 10 months old and has already survived much in her short life. She is very
affectionate and we will update her story as we get to know her. She needs to
gain some weight before we can have her spayed but we'd love for you to come and
visit her at 680 Exhibition Drive or call our Animal Care Center at 763-6110 for
more information.

Jake
Husky Mix: An adoptable dog in Prince Albert, SK
Medium • Baby • Male
Jake was about 7 weeks old when he arrived on November the 4th. He was found in
a Northern Community and was extremely emaciated to the point that he couldn't
even walk. Jake went to the vets the next day and was immidiately placed in
foster care. He is doing extremely well in foster care and has now doubled is
weight. Jake is living with two children as well as two large dogs and is having
the time of his life! He is no longer showing signs of his rough start - he is
walking (running most of the time) normally and his ulcerated eye is now 100%.
Jake is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a forever family so if
you would like to meet him please call our Animal Care Center at 763-6110 and we
can arrange a visit. He is up to date with routine vaccinations and his foster
home says his house training is coming along great.
