A LETTER TO S.H.A.R.P.

Thank You for spending time on the phone with me explaining what S.H.A.R.P. is all about and how you operate.  I could tell your life, heart and mind are passionately devoted to our Canine friends.  I have enclosed a personal cheque for $50.00 which I am donating on behalf of my friend Cindy who is having an upcoming birthday.  She and her husky (Tomba) were connected at the heart for 13 years.  Tomba had a major illness which for her first 5 years of her life was a large challenge for both. Many people had suggested she put Tomba out of her misery, but they never saw the connection between the two.  Although Tomba lived for 13 years (and grew to be quite a character), Cindy lovingly made her food from scratch weekly. Although Tomba was healthier, she still required daily medication and special needs.
Tomba was cremated two years ago but her personality and alpha character still remain as large as life.  I am therefore hoping this donation I have made in the name of Tomba and Cindy will assist you in some manner to help making a Husky happier.

Wasaga Beach's gathering on Aug 9th was great for rescue.  Thanks to South Central Ontario Siberian Husky Club for 80lbs of DOG FOOD donated to RESCUE!!!!!!! Second to Cathy Smith and Shooter - bag of food donated from their winnings  (the water dog race) and third to Penny (a.k.a. rescue's Vice President) for the $31 she won from the 50/50 draw.
